Moving to the Wilmington area?
Relocating to a new area is fraught with enough problems, without considering the daunting task of searching for a place for your family plus finding a REALTOR you can trust. When relocating, you often don't have the luxury of looking at every conceivable area listing. At best, you might be able to see 20 to 25, so pare down your list first thing with this advice:
- Before leaving town, write your needs into one list. Then write your wants in another. When a home comes up short on your must-haves, it's one less house to look at.
- Have an established price range. This could be based on loan pre-approval or a conservative estimate of how much you'll get from selling your current home.
- How long of a commute are you willing to make each day to your job and other interests? Traffic in the Wilmington area could be different than your current location, so let me know your desired drive-time, and I'll find homes within that radius.
